Digital Strategy for
Financial Advisory

During my placement at Tallships Media, I was tasked with enhancing video presentations and branding materials for CI ASSANTE, a financial advisory firm. My primary goal was to refine their digital content to improve client engagement and communication. The project spanned various aspects from video editing and graphic design to strategic consultancy on presentation and branding. My involvement brought a fresh perspective to their digital media strategy, aligning with their new tagline, "Guiding Families Through the Noise".

Visual Deliverables

Throughout my time at the placement, I developed several key visual assets that significantly boosted the brand's professional appearance. I created and revised the intro and outro segments of their financial videos, ensuring they aligned with the updated brand tagline. Additionally, I designed a comprehensive style guide that included new iconography and the implementation of the brand’s colors in various formats, enhancing consistency across all visual communications.

Logo Animation

I developed a logo animation for CI Assante, employing Adobe Illustrator for the design elements and After Effects for animation, inspired by a shadowish 3D style. The sequence showcases dynamic 3D camera movements as the logo forms against a stable, room-like backdrop, symbolizing growth and security. I enhanced the presentation with a progressive sharpening effect, representing the clarity Assante provides its clients. The color palette transitions from whites and grays to Assante’s trademark dark blue, signifying purity transitioning to trust. This potent 10-second animation is tailored for various promotional uses, reflecting professionalism and precision.


Social Media Strategy

I also played a key role in strategizing social media content, aiming to increase viewer engagement through targeted posts and videos. I managed the conversion of complex financial reports into engaging LinkedIn content, utilizing dynamic elements like infographics to simplify intricate financial data. This approach not only clarified the presented information but also made it more accessible to a broader audience, enhancing the firm's social media presence and engagement rates. This case study demonstrates my comprehensive skills set in digital media design, strategic consultancy, and social media marketing, all while adhering to the high standards required in the financial sector.

Deck Design

I designed a tailored template to elevate their professionalism and coherence. Utilizing a clean, modern aesthetic, I emphasized clarity and accessibility to ensure that financial concepts were communicated effectively. This template integrates custom icons and a unified color palette that reflects Assante's brand values of trust and integrity. Each slide is structured to facilitate a smooth narrative flow, making complex information more digestible for audiences at all levels of financial literacy.

Consultancy

As part of my consultancy role, I was instrumental in elevating the quality of CI ASSANTE’s quarterly reports. I proposed a dual camera setup for filming to capture both individual and joint presenter shots, improving the production quality. My recommendations for lighting and audio were implemented, significantly enhancing the clarity and professional feel of the videos. This consultancy extended to advising on the script to ensure terminology was accessible, boosting viewer comprehension and engagement.
